Mid-August 2024 newsletter: Don’t get me wrong, I love ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ and ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’, and most every other wild multiverse ride out there. My series even uses a kissing-cousin variation: deliberately created alternative realities.
But, I just can’t take that many universes. The multiverse theory we see most often in fiction is the ‘many worlds theory’ which says that every quantum event creates a new universe – a WHOLE universe – and every universe’s every quantum event creates another… sigh. That’s way too much infinity for me.
What’s your take on it? Drop me an email and I’ll post the results next issue.
